Oh dude, you're watching Gossip Girl now? \o/ I love it when we share fandoms! How much more do you have left to watch?

To be brutally honest, after season two I'm not a Chuck/Blair fan anymore, and most of the fandom seems to be devoted to them, so I don't play there much. Then again, I'm not really fond of any of the main pairings- my main "ship" is Chuck/Blair/Nate/Serena, and then I like any combination of the three boys, particularly Chuck/Nate though I'm a sucker for Nate and Dan's dorky-boyfriends-in-love vibe, and then Blair with Serena, Jenny or Dan, and Serena/Vanessa. (To me, Serena's the only character who can make Vanessa even remotely likable). So... yeah, my opinions are untraditional at best. *laughs*

But I can tell you offhand that mardia's Dan/Blair au of doom is my favorite thing I've ever seen in the fandom. Here (http://mardia.livejournal.com/tag/gossip+girl+fic) is her fic tag- the ones from the Dan/Blair au are tagged as such ("blair/dan au of doom") but I've enjoyed all her Gossip Girl fics so I figured I'd just link you to her general tag and have done with it. Like I said, though, the Dan/Blair au is my all time favorite. It's basically a rewrite of the series based on the premise that while Vanessa and Serena were gone, Dan and Blair became best friends, and tbh it's kind of what I wish the show could have given us, as much as I love the show. (And I do love it! Lots! I'm just saying...)
