Summary: Everyone has a precious part of themselves.
Mohinder brought trembling hands to his hair. His hair. It was knotted, and matted, and dirty, and oh the blood. His shaking, sticky fingers scraped at his scalp, pulling and pulling.
His insistent tugging brought forth a shower of red flakes.
There was a descent; pale fingers, cold, pulling away his own. The mirror darkened, crowded with two bodies, only one familiar.
That, Mohinder thought, was-oh.
Sylar. Sylar who was evil. Sylar who was wrong. Sylar who had no right to be as clean as he was.
Those fingers pried his off, gently, and the release was like permission. Mohinder’s hands fell to his sides.
“Don’t worry.” The demon was whispered, tone a mockery of comfort. “ I’ll fix it.” And began to comb each strand free.
