Summary: Because while Mohinder is not evolved, he is quick to adapt.
Together they could rule the world.
The first time Sylar says this, it’s not a joke. He’s bloody-not with his own-and Mohinder is crying , pitifully. Mohinder can’t stop himself though, he laughs and laughs through his tears.
Maybe they could.
Maybe-
Sylar could rule the world. Alone. Mohinder wasn’t sure why he had been included, probably as some strange serial killer sentiment. It was form of flattery, maybe. That was rich; the courtship of Dr. Mohinder Suresh by his psycho, murdering, brain stealing…admirer.
But probability has very little to do with reality; a fact that has become increasingly apparent to Mohinder in an amazingly small amount of time. So it’s hard for him to think “this isn’t happening. This isn’t going to happen” when each meeting between them holds more and more kisses. Kisses that taste like blood, true, but still kisses nonetheless. Touches like fire-burning and painful and then soothing whispering of promises and passion that should have been frightening. They’re not though, because while Mohinder is not evolved, he is quick to adapt.
